There are many situations where you may add a new category of data that you would like to track. The problem is, there's already hundreds or thousands of contacts in your database. Sure you could go in and manually add the correct field for each contact in your database, but that's not ideal. With Excel Import, you can update contact information for existing contacts. It's as easy as export to Excel, make your changes in the spreadsheet and then import back in.
