Are You Collecting Recurring Donations?

One time gifts are great, but consistent, recurring gifts can help you raise even more money. DonorSnap's integrated Online Forms make it easy to give your donors the choice between one time donations and setting up a recurring donation based on their preferences. Your donors choose the frequency (one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annually) as well as how long it should last. It's not just a convenience for the organization, but for the donors as well. If you are not already doing so, start accepting recurring donations today!

If you already have an account with Accelerated Payments for online donations, there's nothing else you need to do before setting up your first recurring donation form. Check out this video to learn how to create recurring donation forms.

Once recurring donations are scheduled, DonorSnap automatically checks for processed payments. When it finds them, it downloads them into your site so that each transaction can be integrated into your database. There is no limit to the number of forms, payment schedules, or donations that you can create or accept, so create specific forms for each of your campaigns. Put one on Facebook, send one in your emails, or add them to your website.

New Online Community Forums

We are always looking for ways to improve the ways that we can support DonorSnap users. We've had many requests for a place where DonorSnap users can connect with each other. So now we have added just that -- the new Online Community Forum!

The new Online Community Forum is a place where you can:

  • Find answers to Frequently Asked Questions
  • Share experiences using donation and event forms
  • Ask for community advice in running specific reports
  • Talk about best practices for donor management
  • Connect with other DonorSnap users as well as the support team

We hope this new community will be another helpful resource for you and and your staff in addition to the help library and support team.

Now that the Community Forums are live, we need your help to get it running. Check it out today and ask a question or share some advice. You'll need to create a user account (this is not your DonorSnap username/password) if you do not already have one in order to post a message.

Internet Explorer 11 Issues

If you have recently updated Internet Explorer to version 11 or Windows to 8.1 (which includes IE11), you may have noticed that certain parts of DonorSnap (and many other websites) do not function as they do in all other browsers. You may also notice a solid blue screen when visiting the help site instead of any help pages or videos. Because of these issues, DonorSnap does not currently support IE11.

For best performance in DonorSnap, we highly recommend using Chrome as your browser.
